BURLEIGH HEADS

Burleigh Beach is one of my favourite destination on the Gold Coast, beautiful for both its outdoor as well as photographic opportunities. Surfers frequent the Point for its excellent waves, and rockpools at the southern end of the beach provide plenty of foreground opportunities.

The lookouts along the trail of Burleigh Head National Park provides excellent vantage points to photograph the coastline. Apparently, whales can be spotted in Spring breaching, however, I have never spotted one myself.
