EASTER SUNRISE AT THE SPIT
EASTER SUNRISE AT THE SPIT
Main Beach is the northernmost beach on the Gold Coast, and prominently feature the Sand Bypass System. Apart from serving as a source of visual interest for photographers such as myself, this jetty is also a popular fishing destination, and important in maintaining the health of the Gold Coast beaches further south.Â
This photo was taken during the Easter weekend of 2022. Low tides, coupled with calm weather created beautifully reflective sands, mirroring the golden light of the daybreak. The jetty and its reflection formed leading lines stretching towards the horizon into the infinity of sunrise.
