THE SLEEPY KOALA

I encountered this particular koala whilst hiking on Forts Walk, one of most popular trails at Magnetic Island, Townsville for its abundance of wildlife as well as picturesque coastal scenery. This koala was clearly very sleepy as it chose to rest on a low fork in the tree instead of climbing further up, and it did not mind my presence as I approached closely to take this picture with a 24-70mm lens.
